Braving the Weather at El Capitan

Fishing Time:  8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Weather:  Rain, wind, T-50s
Moon Phase:  39% Moon
Location:  El Capitan Reservoir
Water Temp: 58 -60 degrees
Best Bait:  Night crawler under a slip bobber in 0-10 ft of water
Who Went:  Bobber John, Salim Sawaya, Dunc
John is still here in San Diego with his boat, so we made another trip out to El Capitan Reservoir.  The trolling motor broke again, so we ended up doing more shore fishing than anything else.  Salim met up with us midday to fish.  The weather was awful and rained most of the day.  The wind was also bad.  We caught fish, but it was tough.  Not many photos were taken mostly because of the weather.  Since we still had the boat we felt forced to get it out and use it, otherwise, I don’t think we would have went fishing in these conditions.
